At the 106th Spring Annual Meeting of the Chemical Society of Japan (2026) held at the Funabashi Campus of the College of Science and Technology, Nihon University, Master's student Audreyana and undergraduate student Qiu gave oral presentations.
Oral presentation
・Investigation of Divergent Methodology to Synthesize Amino Acid-Bound Isoindolinones and Their Analogs from Mushrooms of Hericium Species (Audreyana)
・Bioinspired Synthesis of Gargalol B and Its Related Natural Products Found from the Mushroom Grifola gargal (Qiu)
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the annual meeting this year due to institute duties, and therefore couldn't see their presentations. However, it seems both of them delivered excellent presentations.
In particular, this was Kyu's first time presenting at an academic conference, but she diligently practiced her presentation and Q&A session, and answered questions calmly during the actual presentation.
I imagine the journey to get here was challenging, but this presentation experience will undoubtedly be a valuable asset. I look forward to your continued success, making the most of this experience.
