At the 105th Annual Meeting of the Chemical Society of Japan (2025) held at Kansai University Senriyama Campus from March 26th to 29th, a graduate student, Togo, and two undergraduate students, Kanda, and Audreyana, gave oral presentations.
Oral presentations
- Study on the collective synthesis of highly oxidized 5,6-epoxysterols (Togo)
- Synthesis and stereochemical suggestion of gargalol C relying on direct oxidation of tertiary carbon of the steroidal skeleton (Kanda)
- Synthetic Study of Amino Acid-Bound Resorcinols Isolated from Mushrooms (Audreyana)
The two B4 students must have been very nervous as it was their first conference presentation, but surprisingly(?) they were able to speak and answer questions calmly.
I'm sure they learned a lot and were inspired by listening to presentations from other universities.
Use this experience to work hard on your research and studies from April.
Cherry blossoms are starting to bloom here and there on campus.
All the members of Natural Product Chemistry Laboratory will do the best next academic year so that our research can blossom as well!
