Presentation at the 67th Symposium on The Chemistry of Natural Products

The following presentation was given at the 67th Symposium on The Chemistry of Natural Products held at Kawauchi Hagi Hall, Kawauchi Kita Campus, Tohoku University from September 9th to September 11th.

Title：

Collective synthesis, structure elucidation, and b-amyloid aggregation inhibitory activity of mushroom-derived oxysterols featuring skeletal isomerization of ergosterol-5,8-peroxide

Tohoku University is my alma mater, and Kawauchi campus is a place full of memories for me, as I spent my first and second years. It was my first visit to Sendai in over 10 years, and the Tozai Subway Line had not yet opened when I last visited. When I got off at Kawauchi Station, I was very surprised to find myself on the Tohoku University campus.

Some of the facilities have disappeared or been rebuilt, but the overall scenery remains the same as it was back then, and I was immersed in nostalgia during the break time.

I also met my supervisor, Professor Masahiro Hirama. He looked healthy and we enjoyed conversation at alumni event.
