Prof. Kobayashi gave an oral presentation and Togo, a second-year master's student, gave a poster presentation at ACMS 2025 (The Second Asian Conference for "MONODUKURI" Strategy by Synthetic Organic Chemistry), an international conference held at the Okinawa Convention Center from July 30 to August 1.
Oral Presentation
- Collective Synthesis of Meroterpenoids and Sterols Found in Mushrooms (Kobayashi)
Poster Presentation
- Straightforward Synthesis of Oxysterols Considering Their Biosynthetic Pathways (Togo)
The conference venue, the Okinawa Convention Center, was a 40-50 minute away by bus from the center of Naha, with the beach behind it, giving it a tropical feel.
The conference was filled with lectures by leading researchers in the field of organic chemistry, which was both educational and inspiring.
It was a great honor to be able to present among them.
We enjoyed a barbecue as a networking event after the conference on the second day.
It was a valuable opportunity to have various conversations with overseas professors in related fields.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizer, Professor Hayato Tsuji (Kanagawa University), for his consideration in every detail.
I would also like to thank the members of the conference's organizing committee for their assistance.
Although this is just a blog post, I really appreciate the wonderful opportunity for international research exchange.
