The Recycling Technology Development Honda Award is given annually to individuals or groups who have published papers that contribute to academic progress and technological advances related to the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle).
The award was given for a following research paper.
「Cyclopentyl methyl ether (CPME) and 4-methyltetrahydropyran (4-MeTHP):
Basic chemical properties and applications as next generation reaction solvents」 The award ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 16th.
I will be giving a talk at the "3R Advanced Case Presentation" to be held in the afternoon of the same day, so if you have time, I would appreciate it if you could attend and listen to the talk.
Details about the program and how to participate will be posted on the Resource Recycling Promotion Center website at a later date.
Although I received this award as an individual, I was supported by many people in carrying out my research.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the people and students who have supported me so far.
I will continue to work hard on our research and education, so I appreciate your continued support.
