Total Synthesis of Geranyl-Resorcinols Isolated from Mushrooms of genus Hericium

This is a review article on the total synthesis of geranyl-resorcinols isolated from mushrooms of genus Hericium. More than seventy natural products identified so far have been classified based on putative biosynthetic pathways and structures, and total syntheses up to 2021 were covered. Some of these compounds are believed to be involved in the unique health-promoting effects of Hericium erinaceus. [Open Access]
